Piece number 4 is DONE! This is a creation for Charity. She is one of the most interesting and amazing women that I’ve ever met in my life. She likes a lot of nerdy things like cats and astronomy. I got to give this to her over drunken trivia at Red Lion Grog House with a few other friends, we argued with the dude running the game about the fact the a vegan lifestyle falls under vegetarianism. He knows more than we do, because apparently just because you are VEGAN doesn’t mean you are VEGETARIAN. Anyways….

And right on the tail of piece number 2, is the third one! This was also at request of Matt. It’s a good thing a lot of people like dogs, cause we do too!

Piece number 2 is now complete! This is a creation for Matt Aull. He is a pretty amazing dude that is into bikes, records, and veganism. I work with him on IndyVegans and hope to see him for tacos (at least once) before we leave.

Finally, our first piece is done! This was actually an all Mamus! piece done for a long-time, dear friend of his. Note the Primus references.

We’ve got about seventy days left! It feels like it’s taking forever, but it will be here before we know it.

We want to thank all of our awesome friends that have placed “orders” with us, we should be able to start work on them this next week. James has been busy getting ready for his Critters & Cretins opening this Friday at IndySwank, while I have been try to sort through some of our things for our first round of yard sales scheduled for Saturday, April 9.¬† This first sale will probably consist of mostly books & magazines, some art supplies, clothing, and knick-knacks.

Please join us on Friday, perhaps you’ll see some work you’d like to snatch up (there are some really cool little sculpture guys that will be making their debut). Otherwise, stay tuned for the unveiling of our first piece – hopefully sooner than later.

Tuesday, March 1

The page has been up for a little over 24 hours, and we’ve already gotten our first round of orders!

We’ve learned a few things in those hours – like we shouldn’t have created a facebook event. So that’s been taken down.

Also, please note that the only details that you need to give us are the ones we ask for on theordering page. If you’d prefer a specific custom piece, don’t hesitate to ask us! We can more than likely work something out.

We are also going to incorporate a paypal donation button! We ask that you please use this button to order your piece. If you’d prefer to pay with cash/check, send us an email with the order details and we will work something out.

There are more samples of artwork going up on each of our pages. This will help you grasp a better idea of the piece you receive. It will be a mesh of our two styles.

Thanks to all of those that have ordered so far! We’re super stoked to start on the project pieces!

We’re moving to Austin, Texas!

We’re planning to leave by May 31st, 2011. That gives us just 92 days in ol’ Indiana.

So what’s this site about? It’s about trying to raise extra funds for our move. Moving across the country is far from cheap. So we need all the extra help we can get.

Are you wondering where you come in? Well, that’s right about now. To help raise funds, we’re offering our services! And by services, I mean creating a custom piece of artwork just for you.

Each small piece will be handcrafted by us with you in mind. No two pieces will be alike. The minimum donation we ask for is $10 – but you can offer as much as you’d like, as many times as you’d like. Keep one for yourself, and give one to a friend!

We will be cataloging each piece as it is ordered, therefore first one in is first one out and is numbered¬† “1” of the series and so on & so forth. As we complete orders, they will be posted on this blog in numerical order.¬† Not only will you be contributing to our moving fund, you will also be contributing to this project.

Interested in ordering? Well, head on over to the ordering page.
